We are the Unschooling team. Ever striving to be sovereign beings. We are professional teachers, thinkers and activists from Bali, Colombia, Germany, Greece, South Africa, India, the U.K., Malaysia, Australia, the U.S. & Turkey. Together we build a network, representing various backgrounds, different heart´s desires and perceptions of truth and knowledge. Together, we enable innovative learning curricula to be formed and active and critical thinking personalities to evolve.


Deborah aka Pocket

ART – MOVEMENT – LANGUAGE – TRADITIONAL CHINESE MYTHOLOGY & KINESIOLOGY – SCIENCE – NUMEROLOGY – DREAMWORK – REIKI – DIGITAL WORLDS

Deborah is an enthusiastic teacher (and Unschooling activist) as well as a dance- and art coach, certified in Ludwigsburg, Germany, with a specialization on educational inequality and migration. She performs in international programs against child labor and street childhood in European and Asian countries such as India, the Philippines and Indonesia since 2010. Her charity foundation Hip Hop 4 Hope has been founded in 2013 and the projects take place in several countries all over the world ever since.

On the never ending path of learning she always comes back to inner core and swears on dance, the wisdom of the body and the unique power of human connection. Taoism & Traditional Chinese Medicine and Mythology belong to her all time favorites as well as the teachings of the “Yoga of the West”: the Practical Qabalah and further strains of Western mysticism.

Deborah naturally and systematically fuses all her achievements and applied sciences in a flexible way. In her sessions, the individual will be stimulated to discover the own self as a hybrid subject.


Adri | Colombia & Bali

MUSIC – HANDCRAFTS – CONSCIOUS GARDENING – EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE – SACRED SEXUALITY

Adriana Olarte is a psychologist that focuses on human consciousness, self-actualization and environmentalism. For a long time, she has been involved with alternantive education and antroposophy, teaching in different homeschools and waldorf education initiatives.

Her purpose is to enable personal growth through creative expression. Being a musician she believes that artistic activities can develop several virtues in the human character that go beyond the art itself.


Vanessa | Malaysia

YOGA – BODYWORK – ART THERAPY – EUROPEAN CLASSICAL MUSIC

Vanessa Pearl is a yoga and body embodiment teacher. She is a certified IYT 250 hours Mysore-Style Ashtanga Vinyasa practitioner and body coach, She is also a certified Pranic Healer and Reiki Level 1 practitioner.

She currently shares her offerings in the city of Kuala Lumpur through a series of events, workshops and sessions. Her passion for mindful movements, body healing and yoga has taken her to different spaces across her travels including Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Australia and Thailand since 2015.​

Grounded and humbled in his practice, Olivers James Jenkin´s natural intuitive and inquisitive approach to life enables him to enjoy meditating and connecting with people from all walks of life and of all ages.

Oliver has a refreshing approach to meditation and healing alike. Demystifying and simplifying as he goes, helping his fellow humans find space and clarity within as to be empowered on their journey into the remembrance of themselves, rediscovering the true beauty of who they already are.

Oliver offers meditation teaching for all ages, healing for individuals and groups and also incorporates these and other practices into his consultation sessions for parents and organisations looking to align themselves into a constructive and supportive community which celebrates the beauty of the individual and the sacredness of the whole.

A father of six in a blended family with his equally talented partner and healer Bex, Olivers offerings reflect their desire to be led by the next wave of consciousness that comes in to guide us all from each new generation.

Vivi Milovianou is an enthusiastic & conscientious person with strong motivational & healing abilities and sharp senses, paying attention to detail.

Vivi is bilingual. Her prior education and cross-cultural teaching experience uniquely positions her for teaching opportunities worldwide.  She has taught kids, teens and adults in Greece, Spain, Dublin, Vietnam and the UK.

These experiences have been essential to develop her professional skills and techniques in order to achieve the student’s goals, overcoming cultural barriers.

Carol | New York

Carol Lewis is a multi-cultural woman teaching in the Bronx, New York.

She is a mom, writer/poet and teacher who has been teaching children and adults for over 25 years. The past 13 years, it became clear that her incarcerated students possessed the strongest intellect, but suffered from a loss of self, a disconnect from community and a need to belong. 

Upon returning to a community school in the Baychester section of the Bronx, Carol was moved to develop a class that began with the heart of the student, was shaped by student voice and energized by student action. Her Global Connections class has to date connected over 3,000 people working for peace in its first year.

More than grammar skills and number relationships, how a growing individual identifies himself is the foundation of an authentic learning experience.


Ezgilu | Turkey & Bali

DANCE THERAPY – URBAN DANCE – YOGA

Ezgilu is a body-movement artist who believes in that all that is sacred in the creation is in our body and movement is the way to unlock the human potential.

Since she was 16 she has been teaching dance and for more than 5 years now she’s also been teaching dance therapy and yoga. She has taken classes and been teaching all over the world including Europe, U.S, South Korea and Indonesia. She’s also studying dance Psychotherapy at the moment to work with humans with mental illnesses.

Ezgilu uses a fusion of techniques from movement therapy, contemporary dance, gaga technique and even martial arts. A beautiful combination, oriented along the persons needs, to release and heal.

BREAK THE MOVEMENT

Oğuzhan aka “Jester” is an internationally active movement artist since 2010. After achieving success at local competitions such as Red Bull BC One Turkey where he won the title five times a row, he had the chance to dance and compete internationally. Because of his passion for movement and the body, he began to pursue his career as an academic dancer and started studying at the Contemporary Dance Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University’s State Conservatory in 2018.

Hans method “Break the Movement” is a devoted approach to be a reMINDer to people. “I give back what was given to me…”. He sees the ELEMENTS OF MOVEMENT as following: “Fundamental” is the spine of movement. “Flow” is your heARTbeat. “Originality” is how you create in your own way. “Style” is behavior, reaction, attitude, instinct. The way, how you break the movement.


Gina | U.S.A.

VISUAL ART – DIGITAL ART – SONGWRITING – HOMESTEADING – UNSCHOOLING SUPERVISION

Gina S. is an unschooler at heart, with a devotion to truth and a reverence for creation.

As a mother of four children, she has been blessed with wisdom and experience with raising bright and
unique children and choosing to walk the narrow path. As a lifelong artist, she is deeply passionate about creating art using digital and traditional media, and is in love with the process of drawing and painting from the soul. She is also a songwriter and musician, and is constantly learning how to live a simple life in harmony with nature.

She is fluent in English and Spanish and can communicate in Italian.



Sara | Slovenia & Bali

ADVENTURE CLASSES – ROAD SCHOOLING CURRICULA

After gaining formal education in preschool teaching and exploring different fields of studies
and work, Sara started to teach as a private Montessori teacher. She has always been fond of small classes and
believed in personal approaches. Her students guided her to explore new and different perspectives of
teaching.
Sara is highly experienced in world-schooling as she has
been traveling around parts of Indonesia and South Korea with her 10 year-old students, fascinated by
concepts of road-schooling, unschooling and individualized curricula.

In Sara´s Adventure classes, children create e.g. simple natural instruments, go on scavenger hunts, build bug
hotels and models etc. They are encouraged to search for things around them and made by nature


Teddy | Jakarta & Bali

Teddy is a professional filmographer & photographer. He started his career on the streets of Jakarta and became
a great image catcher, now living in Bali. In Ubud, he founded and opened a well renowned photography & art
house to invest in the community with his talents and skills. He truly believes the way to get a message across is
through a cinematic, high quality and emotionally engaging script. Stills or films with a good story draws the
viewer in and takes them on a journey; holding their attention and creating a vested interest in the subject
matter. Teddy shares his eye for the special moments of life with children passionately
